The diagnosis is a written review of your education against what the board that applies to you requires. We tell you whether your degree passes, through which route, what is missing and how long it takes. If the answer is no, you get that in writing too.
What we look at
Your degree, how many years the program ran, and your transcript. Almost everything is in there: clinical hours, and whether you have obstetrics and pediatrics — the two that produce the most deficiencies.
What you get
A document with the outcome, what is missing if anything is, an estimate in months and the seven steps of the process. Written by a person and signed. It arrives as a private link: you read it on your phone, and you save or print it from there. It is not an automated email with your name inside.
The state is New York
We run a single state, and that is why we know every form, every deadline and every third party by heart. New York also does not require fingerprinting, which in other states is the step that adds weeks nobody controls. The diagnosis does not pick a state: it tells you whether your degree is enough for this one. And it is not a license for the whole United States: you get it in one state and later carry it to another by endorsement.
The diagnosis costs $75 and it is creditable: if you decide to go ahead, it comes off the $4,000 of the full program, which is all-inclusive.
